What is the Arizona Rural Women's Health Initiative?
The Arizona Rural Women’s Health Initiative (AzRWHI) is a project of the Rural Health Office of The University of Arizona's Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health. AzRWHI works in collaboration with the Rural/Frontier Women’s Health Coordinating Center of the Arizona Association of Community Health Centers and several other entities throughout Arizona.

Health Matters for Rural Women - Newsletter
Health Matters for Rural Women is a source for news and information sharing about the health of rural women in Arizona. Health encompasses more than the absence of disease just as women’s health is a wider topic than just reproductive health; many factors contribute to individual health and well-being. Through this newsletter, AzRWHI presents relevant and useful topics, creates conversations, and provides a space for rural communities, health professionals, and women living in rural communties to explore health-related topics. Arizona Rural Women's Health Initiative Listserv
Stay up-to-date on news and events related to the health of rural women in Arizona! This listserv (free email notification service) is used to distribute the Health Matters for Rural Women newsletter, as well as to announce trainings and events, provide access to information and resources, and to connect people across Arizona concerned with rural women's health. Arizona Rural Women's Health Initiative Council
The Arizona Rural Health Office (part of the University of Arizona's Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health) and the Rural/Frontier Women's Health Coordinating Center (part of the Arizona Association of Community Health Centers), have joined together to convene the Arizona Rural Women’s Health Initiative Council. The Council is a statewide advisory committee designed to analyze, evaluate and think innovatively about rural women’s health in Arizona. Learn more about the AzRWHIC.
